A team for those who gaze at the stars
A cross-platform solution that will serve as the centerpiece of our operation for the TEIDESAT project. With this software, we will be able to seamlessly interact with both our satellite and ground stations.
As we move forward, our intention is to migrate the software to the robust and versatile C++/Qt5 framework.
The TeideSat CubeSat tracking program offers an API that enables real-time monitoring from any location on Earth.
Utilizing computer vision algorithms, this program provides the satellite’s ephemeris, which includes the elevation angle and azimuth angle. These values, obtained in real-time from video camera frames and TLE coordinates, allow for accurate and up-to-date tracking of the TeideSat CubeSat.
As a potential contributor to the TEIDESAT Project, we would like to understand more about your background, motivations, and suitability for the project. To help us assess your application, please provide the following information:
- A concise curriculum vitae (no more than 2 pages), highlighting your relevant skills and experience.
- A brief motivation letter (no more than 1 page), in which you can explain why you are interested in our company and project, why you believe you would be well-suited for this project and some details about yourself, including your interests, hobbies, and personal background.
- The amount of time you expect to dedicate to this project, and your current status (e.g. BSc student, MSc student, PhD student, working professional, etc.).
- A list of tools and programming languages that you are experienced with, and an explanation of how they could be valuable to this project.
By providing this information, you will give us a better understanding of your suitability for the project and help us to determine if you are the right fit for the team.
Thank you for your interest in the TEIDESAT Project, and we look forward to reviewing your application!
